Three new Cooper's Hawks this summer in the WDGB. The nest was in the same location that our local pair of Barred Owls have used in the none breeding season for the last 6 years. Barred Owls and Cooper's Hawks do not get along so it was interesting to see them using the same Spruce grove at different times of the year. The Barred Owls had one offspring this year in another part of the WDGB not far from their winter roost.
