Seattle has been under a very strong high pressure ridge for a couple of weeks now....which means in winter we get fog in the low areas and clear skies above about 1,000 feet.  The high temperature in Seattle rests at about 40 deg. f.  In the mountains at 5,000 feet it may reach 60 deg.  So the best thing to do to get out of the fog is head for the sunny mountains.
We didn't do that...but instead lucked out with a very nice mixed fog and sun day in the Skagit Delta.  As you may have noticed previous posts have covered the same area....but here are the latest images anyway.
